ANDREW GEE

Growing up, I always knew that I wanted music in my life when it came to my career. Being a resident deejay at fig allows me to express myself musically—and have a lot of fun while doing it. After high school, I focused my attention on graphic design and the arts. I love having a pencil in my hand and a blank piece of paper to create. After going to school for three years I knew something was missing: Music. I remember the night I realized I wanted to pursue my music career so I attended Full Sail University in Orlando, FL where I received my B.A. in Music Business and Recording Arts.

I love hip-hop with a passion, whether it be old school or new school that is where my heart lies. If a song has a rhythm, then it’s good. I love all genres of music and I have to admit some country and a lot of rock never hurts. I am always trying to find what’s next in the music industry and I have an internal library of what I like to call “club bangers.”

Music is life—and life is good!
